What we collect
We hold your name, contact details, date of birth, GP and insurer details, billing information, and the medical information needed to care for you.
Why we use it and our legal basis
We use your information to provide your care, communicate with you, and manage billing. We rely on the performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interests in running the practice. We process health information for the provision of health care, under the supervision of a health professional bound by confidentiality. We also keep records where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
Where needed, we share information with the clinics and hospitals involved in your care, your GP and other clinicians, your insurer if you claim through one, and service providers who support the practice, such as our email provider and bank. These providers act under contract and only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
We normally keep adult medical records for at least 8 years after your last treatment, and billing records for at least 6 years. We may keep records for longer where there's a clinical or legal reason to do so.
Email is convenient but not completely secure. Please keep sensitive details to a minimum in unsolicited emails, or call us instead.
